There has been much speculation as to whether Hillary Clinton will give another run at president in the upcoming presidential races set for 2016. The former First Lady, says she will decide in 2014 if she will run for president.
“I haven’t made up my mind. I will look carefully at what I think I can do and make that decision sometime next year,” she told Barbara Walters.’
Clinton, who was named the “Most Fascinating Person of 2013″ according to Ms. Walter’s list. insisted that she has not yet made her mind up about the White House amongt many politcal insiders saying that all signs point to a second presidential campaign.
“It’s such a difficult decision, and it’s one that I’m not going to rush into and I don’t think we should be looking at the next election,” she told ABC per Washington Times. “I think we should be looking at the work that we have today, like unemployment, food stamps and the economy.”
Another reason why she still hasn’t made up her mind is because she says that she is enjoying her time away from government service.
Former Montana Gov. Birtan Schweitzer took an indirect shot at Hillary Clinton for her vote on Iraq when he was in Iowa last night.
“I didn’t vote for that war, and I don’t think it was a good idea,” he said at a Progress Iowa event. “When we were attacked on 9/11 by 17 Saudis and two Egyptians who called themselves Al-Queda, who weren’t welcome in Iraq, and George Bush got a bunch of democrats to go to that war, I was just shaking my head in Montana.”
The world will need to wait until the new year to see whether Hillary ultimately decides to run or not in the next presidential election. Until then, all we can do is speculate.
