Festivus, a holiday that was created by the hit show Seinfeld, will be celebrated by Senator Rand Paul as he told reporters that he will be celebrating the made-up holiday by airing his grievances against D.C.

According to Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, less competition and more cooperation is what is needed in D.C. as he celebrates Festivus by airing his grievances against Capitol Hill. On his personal Twitter account, the senator wrote:

 

 

 

The senator, who has over 350,000 followers on Twitter, celebrated one aspect of Festivus. The initially sitcom based holiday managed to work its way into American culture and has now become just as significant as Christmas. Festivus, which is on December 23, is celebrated by having an unadorned aluminum pole, committing to feats of strength and airing grievances.
