Kim Jong-Un is ready for war as he informs his North Korean army to prepare for battle as tensions rise along the Korean Peninsula.
Telling his troops to get ready for battle, Kim Jong-Un warned his people that war may be imminent and could occur unexpectedly. The news of Kim Jong-Un’s warning came after reports from Johns Hopkins University stated that North Korea has begun producing fuel rods for its nuclear reactor.
Following the public execution of Kim Jong-Un’s uncle, all eyes have been on the young North Korean leader who has revamped North Korea’s nuclear program. After the death of Jang Song-Thaek, former mentor and uncle who was executed by Kim Jong-Un, Washington and Seoul warn that a possible attack from North Korea may occur.
According to a report from the Korean Central News Agency:
“[Kim Jong-Un] instructed the unit to put utmost spurs on rounding off its combat readiness…always bearing to mind that a war breaks out without any prior notice.”
The ominous situation seems to be getting more prevalent as satellite imagery from John Hopkins University reports that they have identified facilities at North Korea‘s recently restarted plutonium reactor that may produce fuel. The report goes on to state:
“The identification of these facilities indicates a more wide-ranging, extensive effort by North Korea to modernize and restart the Yongbyon complex dating back to 2009 than previously understood.”
