Yesterday we reported that up and coming rapper Doe B was shot and killed in the early morning hours at a Montgomery Alabama night club. The young rapper and 7 others were shot in the fatal incident towards the end of the night. Of the 8 total victims that were shot, the only fatalities were rapper Doe B, and a young 21- year old woman named Kim Johnson. While most of the attention has focused around the 22-year old rapper, there have still been many of his fans and complete strangers showing their support for Kim Johnson’s family.

Kim Johnson Killed In Doe B ShootingKimberle Johnson was just an innocent bystander, who was out enjoying herself at a club only days after turning 21-years old. Earlier in the week the young lady had celebrated her birthday with friends, and then enjoyed Christmas with her family. Little did they know that for many of them that would be the last time they saw Kim alive.

She spent her last night enjoying a club performance from the Hustle Gang rapper known as Doe B, whose real name is Glenn Thomas. As the shooting broke out, Kim received a gunshot wound to her head, killing her almost instantly. She was pronounced dead at the scene, without need for further treatment.

The performance was held at the Centennial Hills Bar and Grill, which was a popular underground music venue in Montgomery. The same location had been the scene of another fatal shooting almost exactly a year ago, which forced the closure of the venue at that time. It seems to many that the location may be a source of gang violence in the neighborhood, or at least the target of some senseless attacks by criminal individuals.
