Connie Villa, the Arizona mom who was accused of trying to kill her family on Christmas has admitted that she intentionally tried to poison her kids to death. Villa admitted that she forced her kids to take prescription narcotics on Christmas Day so that she could kill them. Her intentions were that if her children were dead, then her ex-husband would not be able to get custody of them from her.
Connie Villa, Arizona Mom Admits She Poisoned Kids On ChristmasWhen Casa Grande Police arrived at Connie Villa’s home on Christmas, they found a dead teenage daughter in the home, whom Villa admitted to choking to death since she refused to take the prescription drugs. Villa then contacted her ex-husband and lured him to the home, only to attack him with a knife. Villa repeatedly stabbed her ex-husband in the upper body, but he was able to escape. He then called police, who arrived at the horrific scene.
Villa’s ex-husband and three remaining kids survived her cruel intentions, and are expected to recover. The children all had opiates in their system, which would have caused them to overdose and stop breathing had Connie Villa been able to continue forcing them to take the pills.
The holidays can sometimes be depressing for many, and this time of year is historically full of lots of suicide and harmful behavior. Aside from not wanting her kids in the care of her ex-husband, police have yet to determine what might have triggered Villa to take such drastic actions against her kids. Had she succeeded, she would have killed all four of her kids and her ex-husband.
She is being held without bond in an Arizona jail, awaiting trial for her admitted crimes. The crimes were committed in Casa Grande Arizona which is located South of Phoenix Arizona.
