Peyton Manning had 36 passes attempts  while connecting 25 for 230 yards. He threw 2 touchdown passes and 1 interception. Denver also rushed the ball for a total of 133 yards making their total yards 363 to win the game. Philip Rivers had just 27 pass attempts and completed 18 for 217 yards. He had 2 touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Chargers also rushed the ball for 65 yards making their total yards 259.

The Broncos completely took charge of the game for the first three quarters until Philip Rivers took advantage of a key injury to cornerback Chris Harris Jr. It almost felt like last year when Baltimore had a comeback  to defeat Denver late in the fourth quarter. This time Manning came to the rescue to help send the Denver Broncos to their first title game in over eight seasons.

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos will face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots next Sunday for what should be a fantastic finish for the AFC championship. Last year both Denver and the Patriots lost to the 2013 Superbowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Denver lost 38 to 35 and the Patriots fell short 28 to 13. This year with Baltimore out of the picture Manning and Brady will get their shot in the big show.

A lot of people talk about how tough the NFC is but I am optimistic about these Denver Broncos this year. Yes they might not have one of the best defenses in the league, but they do have arguably the best offense in the league this year. Only time will tell who wins the Superbowl this year, I for one would love to see Peyton pull it off.
