Justin Bieber had a visit from a dozen sheriff deputies today as the pop star may be involved in an egg throwing incident at his neighbor’s home.
According to recent reports, the Biebs received an unexpected visit from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department today in regards to a vandalism incident that occurred at his neighbor’s house. Investigators were looking to obtain camera footage from the pop star’s home that may show who was behind the act of vandalism.
While Justin Bieber cooperated with police, investigators state that the 19-year-old did not talk about the egging at his neighbors house. Bieber also declined to discuss last week’s incident in which one of Bieber’s friends was arrested when authorities found cocaine during their search.
Although Bieber denies that he did any wrongdoing, the neighbor told investigators that the singer and his friends were behind the vandalism. The total damage caused from the act amounts to $20,000.
Investigators told reporters that they were not there to question Bieber about either incident. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told reporters:
“The purpose of the search warrant is to seek video surveillance or other possible evidence in the vandalism that occurred on January 9, 2014.”
The incident occurred in The Oaks in Calabasas. Over the past year, neighbors of Justin Bieber have complained numerous times about the singer’s antics, including an incident in which Bieber spat on him and made threats against him.
Justin Bieber and his reps have made no public statements or comments about the ongoing investigation.
