“Vanna” go Vegan?
There are a lot of diets out there. Some are more controversial than others. Here are a couple of new books about current diets. The Vegan Cookbook For Beginners: The Essential Vegan Cookbook To Get Started by Rockridge Press is a contemporary publication fit for the health conscious readers of the day. It presents a very effective, understandable intro to eating healthy without the consumption of any animal products. Finally, it provides information on the perils of meat, the connection between diet and cancer, transitioning to a vegan diet, suitable vegan substitutes for assorted animal “eats” and of course a comprehensive two-week diet plan.
“Wanna” lose weight? Another more recently released book by the same publisher is The Fast Diet Cookbook: Low-Calorie Fast Diet Recipes and Meal Plans for the 5:2 Diet and Intermittent Fasting. This one is more than just another “fad’ diet book. It’s an easy-to-follow handbook on how to permanently lose weight easily through intermittent fasting. It maps out a simple method to weight loss by eating two low calorie meals a week and eating the recommended daily requirement of calories the remaining five days. It offers an honest, truthful perspective on both the theory and reality behind this type of dieting. It includes a lot of different recipes, a comprehensive one month meal plan and practical advice and information on related topics such as the science behind the process as well as the numerous health benefits.
