It’s two of the most anticipated events of the year, the Bachelor wedding and of course the Grammys. Who will win the coveted position of being number one tonight as both compete against each other? Will it be the celebrity packed Grammys? Or the hopeless romantics that will be sure to watch the highly anticipated Bachelor wedding event? Our bets are on the Grammys, with star-studded performances from Taylor Swift, Jay Z, Beyonce, Imagine Dragons, and Kendrick Lamar.
The wedding of the year is set to take place in a televised ceremony, at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore in Santa Barbara, CA. Season 17th bachelor, Sean Lowe, a businessman from Dallas, and Catherine Giudici, a graphic designer from Seattle, will join the likes of Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter, Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenberg as the fourth couple in Bachelor/Bachelorette history to make it to the alter. This will be the first live wedding for the reality franchise.
The bride’s dress was designed by Monique Lhuillier per USA Today. Her best friend will walk her down the aisle, the same friend who signed up to be a contestant on the Bachelor. Sean’s father, Jay, will officiate the ceremony. It is certain that there will be a fair share of tears, laughs, and touching moments on tonight’s special episode.
The Grammy’s are also shaping to be an event to see as well, with a jam-packed list of performances that are sure to keep our eyes glued to the television. The one that is likely to stand out is the collaboration between Jay Z and Beyonce that is set to go down. Will they reprise their “Crazy in Love hit?” Will they unveil a new track?
Host LL Cool J is scheduled to host the event. What makes him qualified for this task? It’s not entirely clear, other than he has hosted it the last two years.
The Grammys will start at 8:00 p.m. (EST) airing on CBS while the Bachelor wedding will air at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC.
