Richard Sherman ankle injury during the last quarter of Super Bowl 2014 did not hinder the massive blowout win the Seattle Seahawks had over the Denver Broncos.
Richard Sherman was injured during the fourth quarter. Sherman, the star cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks, was then carted off the field and into the locker room to be looked at by doctors. While the Seahawks have not released what the injury is, Sherman suffered a major blow to his knee during the third quarter.
While training staff tried to help Richard Sherman get off the field, the cornerback was seen limping and was then put on the cart. Sherman has played a major role in the Seahawks success throughout the 2013 season.
Sherman will not return to finish off the last quarter of the Super Bowl. According to Fox Sports, Richard Sherman suffered an injury to his right ankle and will be watching the rest of the game from the sidelines.
