Charlie Sheen is ready to give marriage another try, a 4th try to be precise, after he proposed to adult film star Brett Rossi in Hawaii Saturday morning. Charlie Sheen had previously talked about proposing to the 24-year-old in Iceland last month, but it looks like this time he isn’t joking around, per confirmed reports by his publicist Jeff Ballard with People Magazine.
“With all due respect to Donna — that maiden Klay-Vinn was annulled,” Sheen wrote in a statement to the mag referring to his first marriage to Donna Peele, which ended in annulment.
Charlie Sheen was also previously married to Brooke Mueller and actress Denise Richards.
“Therefore, if ‘three’ truly is a charm; The mashup/acronym of the real CS, (Charlie & Scottie) HAS to be; ‘Char-M-stee…'” he added about his new love Rossi, whose nickname is Scottie.
First reported by entertainment site TMZ, the 48-year-old, twice her age, “Anger Management” actor proposed to his now fiance Saturday morning after they flew to Hawaii on a private jet.
Sheen’s new bride-to-be, who is half his age, tweeted a picture of the couple with the ocean in the background Saturday that she captioned with a simple heart. Another picture followed right after with a box of chocolates surrounded by roses. She did not announce the engagement at that time, although she did write that Friday was the “start of an epic day.”
“Yes! We are engaged! He even was a gentleman and got down on one knee,” Rossi told E! News exclusively. “I was not expecting it at all. We had a beautiful Valentine’s day and he proposed to me early this morning after we watched the sun rise.”
“The ring is classic and beautiful, but I don’t have any photos to share just yet. This is the happiest moment of both our lives. He’s my best friend and my soulmate.”
