The Simpsons get a lego makeover for the fall season opener “Brick Like Me.” It will be the 550th episode for the long time running show on Fox, which has been renewed for a record breaking 26th season. The new Lego show will air on May 4, at 8p.m. Each member of the Simpsons family along with Ned Flanders will be available for purchase in 2,500 piece Lego set that costs $199.99.
For the Simpsons newest show Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie will all be cast as lego figures. In the newest episode Homer will wake up in world where everything is made of legos and he will have to try to put the pieces together before getting stuck as a plastic building block forever.
The Simpsons created by Matt Groening first aired in 1989 and has been the most popular adult animated television show ever since. Homer’s voice is portrayed by Dan Castellaneta, Marge’s voice is portrayed by Julie Kavner, Bart’s voice comes unexpectedly from Nancy Cartwright, and Lisa’s voice from Yeardley Smith are the main character voices for the show that is constantly hosting celebrity and guest appearances.
