Robin Thicke wants his wife back and he is willing to do anything to show it. His recent actions show that he is desperately seeking to win his lady love back after their recent separation sent shockwaves across the nation. The singer made the news public with a joint announcement Monday.
At a concert in Fairfax, Va. Thursday, Thicke made his intentions clearly evident saying: “For y’all that don’t know, me and my wife separated, but I’m trying to get my girl back,” he said on stage. “She’s a good woman.”
He was also caught on video at Washington D.C.’s Dulles International Airport where he told TMZ cameramen that he was “just trying to get her back, man.”
His actions are right in line with reports that it was Patton, not Robin Thicke that initiated the split. There are rumors swirling that the split was a long time coming, while others claim it was out of the blue. Also being highly discussed is whether Thicke’s infamous MTV Video Music Awards performance with Miley Cyrus or a photo showing him grabbing a female fan’s bottom while posing for a picture had anything to do with the split.
In addition to public declarations of his love, the singer may have also had a few tricks up his sleeves behind closed doors. An unknown person bombarded Patton’s Hollywood Hills home with countless bouquets of flowers on Thursday, TMZ reported on Friday. The bouquets appeared to be made of white blossoms, which supposedly symbolize undying love, new beginnings, among other things.
The couple’s romance first began when they were only teenagers, got married in 2005, and now have a 3-year old son, Julian.
The boy was allegedly involved in a minor car crash Thursday along with Patton’s mother and her assistant who were being pursued by paparazzi, “Entertainment Tonight” reported. No injuries were reported.
