Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Announces Red-to-Blue Candidates

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announces Red-to-Blue candidates as they highlight their top picks for the party. Sixteen candidates have been chosen for the program who have high hopes of winning their seats.

Attempting to regain control of the House, Democrats are looking to gain seventeen members. The DCCC says that the candidates they have chosen have the best chances of winning some of the toughest districts and have stated that they will be adding more districts to the list in the near future.

The candidates included on the list will be able to gain more financial support as well as gain extra support with their campaign strategy. What is most notable about the list is out of the sixteen specified candidates, ten of those are women. That is a historically high number compared to years past and marks the change in voters when it comes to gender bias.

As it stands now, here is the full list of the Red-to-Blue candidates:
