As the new star of The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman, will once again try her luck at love after her rocky romance with Juan Pablo Galavis. The fan favorite won the hearts of many viewers after making it to the final three before telling off Bachelor, Juan Pablo, and walking off the show per People.
Now, she’ll be handing out the roses.
The feisty assistant district attorney based in Atlanta made a dramatic exit from The Bachelor after a disastrous fantasy suite date. The announcement was made public by host, Chris Harrison, on Monday night’s After the Final Rose Special following the shocking Bachelor Finale.
The 26-year-old proclaimed “I’m looking to find that great love. I have a great life. I just don’t have anyone to spend it with,” the no-nonsense prosecutor said. “I love my job, but at the end of the day, my job is not my priority. I’m ready to find my husband.”
After a challenging interview with Juan Pablo, who refused to admit he was in love, Chris Harrison wanted to make sure Andi Dorfman was indeed ready to go through the same process on her upcoming season.
“I feel all in. I feel mentally all in, emotionally all in, physically all in. I am in a place in my life where I’m just so ready for this. I hate to say it because I don’t want to jinx myself … but I am ready. I’ve never felt better in my life about this and I’m just excited.”
Andi Dorfman says she still believes in the show even though she didn’t find love with Juan Pablo. “I felt really feelings … I think it can happen anywhere – especially on a show like this. I mean why not? Why not?”
Her season of The Bachelorette will premiere on May 19 on ABC.
