Clare Crawley and Juan Pablo Galvis’ final moments on the Bachelor season finale were intense and sufficiently awkward to say the least. So how does Clare Crawley, the Sacramento native, really feel about her time on the Bachelor?
She opened up on Monday’s Good Morning America explaining her time on the reality TV romance show saying, “went into this feeling I’m going to be 100 percent open and I’m going to be 100 percent myself and I’m going to think about what I do and, because I thought and then acted, I’m proud of that.”
Even though Clare admittedly was “falling in love” with Juan Pablo, she said “that doubt in my mind,” followed her after their conversation in the helicopter on their final date. (Supposedly, Clare told Juan Pablo at the time, “Just tell me you love me,” in which he responded “I loved f—— you.)
“But going into the final rose ceremony, I felt like I’ve been here the whole time and said that I would follow through to the end and I just figured I’m going to be there and no matter what happens, I’m going to say how I feel,” she said.
The Bachelor’s real personality has been brought to light following his stint on the show, which has led many to question if they were misled the entirety of the season up to the last few episodes. According to Clare, that is the “real” Juan Pablo.
“As short of a time period as we get to see on TV, I think your true personality kind of comes through in the end,” she said. “I think mine did and I think his did as well.”
The outcome isn’t all doom and gloom. Clare Crawley went on to say that Juan Pablo’s rejection was a “blessing in disguise” and says that she feels “amazing” post-finale. There were hints that she may have a new man already saying cryptically, “I’m very happy. The good thing is it’s not on TV right now.”
