David Foster Wallace is the author of Infinite Jest, which was referred by Time magazine as one of the 100 best English novels. In 2008 the influential writer committed suicide by hanging himself.
According to David’s father the writer had suffered from a long bout of depression and he was taking antidepressant medication that caused some severe side effects.
He left behind an unfinished novel The Pale King, which was later published and became a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize.
It sure looks like Jason Segel has managed to look like the late writer, wearing his signature bandana, hopefully the movie won’t disappoint. The movie is still in production and filming, look for it later this year.
