Controversial ads for the Toronto Mayor election are going up in Toronto and as politically incorrect as they may be, it is hard not to laugh at them.  Jeff McElfroy has posted signs promising that if he is chosen as Toronto mayor, he will only smoke weed, not crack, like current Toronto mayor Rob Ford.

One of the ad campaign signs in Toronto advertising the campaign to get Rob Ford out of office.

It turns out the ads that are being seen in Toronto, Canada are fake, but a funny jab at current mayor Rob Ford.  The ads are actually advertisements for the No Ford Nation Campaign, a campaign aimed at getting current Toronto major, Rob Ford out of office.  Rob Ford’s personal life has been flaunted in the public eye as less than desirable.  The ad plays on the fact that a video of Rob Ford smoking a crack pipe surfaced, yet the mayor is still in office.

The website goes over all of the claims that Rob Ford has as improvements in Toronto while he was a mayor and disbands most of them.  Even though the sign is not for a real candidate for mayor, it does it’s job well- grabs the attention of the viewer and makes them want to visit the site!
