Comedian and actor John Pinette was found dead in his Pittsburgh hotel room. Pinette, 50, passed from natural causes, specifically liver and heart disease.
Reportedly the comedian’s personal doctor signed off on Pinette’s cause of death with the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. The ‘Parker Lewis Can’t Lose’ actor passed Saturday afternoon from no suspected foul play so no autopsy is expected to be performed.
The comedian began his career in the early 90s appearing in several hot television shows at the time including ‘Seinfeld’. He appeared in several films such as; The Punisher, Duets and Dear God.
Pinette checked into rehab in 2013 for prescription drug addiction. Following his actions, the comedy had to take a break from stand-up and Tweeted in response to his issue.
“I didn’t give myself enough time to heal this past fall and it’s caught up with me,” he said. “But I’m on the mend and I promise to hit the stage as soon as humanly possible.”
The comedian was reportedly preparing to go on a stand-up tour in Canada and the U.S.
