Undertaker Loses Wrestlemania 30 Match For First Time Ever

The Undertaker at a WWE match in 2012, when he was still undefeated.

The match took place in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.  The Undertaker previously had a winning streak of 21-0 and fans expected it to be 22-0 by the end of the match.

As with most matches, the Undertaker started out dominating the ring.  His opponent, Brock Lesnar seemed to be about to lose but came through just when it mattered most and ended the undefeated streak of the Undertaker.  Brock Lesnar delivered  three F-5s to the Undertaker. The final finishing move polished him off and ended his winning streak.

The show is said to have attracted 75,167 people to the Superdome in New Orleans and almost $11M in ticket revenue.

The night was full of surprises, leaving fans in a state of shock and awe.  For the next segment of the WWE storyline, Wrestlmania 31 will take place next year at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
