The Houston Texans were locked in on the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft and decided not to make a trade. With the Texans in need of a Quarterback, there was a lot of talk about them trading down to address the need.

“Maybe we’ll trade down and still get a quarterback that can do the job and get an outstanding defensive player,” team owner Bob McNair said then. “It’s an exciting time. Everything’s a moving target. Lot of different pieces.”
