Ciara, Future Debut Newborn Son on Instagram

R&B singer Ciara and her fiancé, Future, debuted their newborn son on Instagram Tuesday.

The singer gave birth to her firstborn child early Monday morning but waited a day to post a picture of the vitals as well as the boy’s tiny hand.

Don’t let his tiny hand fool you though. The newborn – Future Zahir Wilburn – weighed in at 9 pounds, 10 ounces, according to Ciara, who confirmed the reported Monday birthday on both Facebook and Twitter.

Elder Future tweeted Tuesday morning, “Baby FUTURE”, though his music producing dad’s birth name is actually Nayvadius D. Wilburn. This is reportedly his fourth child.

Ciara was active right up until her birth, posting a hilarious video of her dancing just a few days before she gave birth. She posted the video and wrote, “Ever Seen A Pregnant Lady Crip Walk?:) #BlimpeWalk Goofing Off Before I Hit The Track 2 Walk:) #LoveMusic.#LoveDance. Happy Friday Everyone!!:) XO.”

Ciara maintained a positive outlook throughout her whole pregnancy telling US in early April, “I feel great. I didn’t even know what to expect, but it’s been a very easy process—and it’s been so much fun,” she gushed. “Honestly, it’s been the coolest experience in my life! Besides getting engaged which happened last year, this has been pretty awesome.”

The superstar singer first announced her pregnancy back in January on “The View” when she took her growing baby bump public and confirmed the rumors.

Our first glimpse at baby Future.

The new parents had their new bundle of joy’s name picked out well in advance telling US “It was kind of easy. But the middle name was a little hard for me… I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn’t second guess it.”

Ciara and Future got engaged last October when he presented his leading lady with a 15-carat sparkler. She told “The View” the wedding will happen sometime this year. Perhaps baby Future can be the ring bearer at the wedding now?
