Everywhere you look the media is pushing you telling you who to follow, what to watch and when to watch it.   You’re even sometimes told how to do it all.  Truth is, here at American Live Wire we do a bit of that too.  The big difference is we also tell you why.

Yes, knowing that sushi contains raw fish it might make even more people ask the question: Why do people eat sushi, eh? According to online experts raw fish or sushi is really “hot” right now . . . especially in trendy metropolitan areas such as L.A. In fact, the city has some new sushi bars that specialize in an Italian style sushi named crudo.

Last December The New York Times proclaimed Sushi Nakawaza to be “restaurant of the year”. Last month President Obama went to Asia and sucked down nigiri at the well-known Jiro’s sushi bar. But why do people eat sushi?

Why do so many folks enjoy slurping down raw ocean dwellers when they wouldn’t even think about sucking down uncooked birds, cattle or pigs? Why do people eat sushi? Some people say it is because dish is very tender while the meat of terrestrial animals is thicker, tougher and truly needs to be cooked in order to enjoyably eat.

Need more of an answer to the question “Why do people eat sushi?” Respondents on websites such as YahooAnswers also shed some insight on this issue.  Someone named “Dune” noted that it is health-related and says the sushi is supposed to be the highest quality fish available.

Why do people eat sushi? “Matthew” asked: “Why not eat it? Only salmon, tuna, and a few other fish are not cooked in sushi, but it’s not like they’ll kill you. Eating raw meat (especially fish) is no different than eating cooked meat (cooked pork is more dangerous than raw tuna). It’s just the thought of eating raw fish that grosses you out. “

Whydo people eat sushi? People eat sushi because many people enjoy Japanese food. Sushi is a traditional Japanese food. It is a traditional Japanese food because the country is surrounded by water so of course it would be a natural choice in terms of food sources.

Whydo people eat sushi? They eat it because they like the taste. They eat it because it is healthy and because they enjoy Japanese cuisine.
