#11 Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos
#11 Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos.
Statistically, Tim Tebow was about as successful of a college quarterback as any potential NFL team could have asked for. His physical attributes led him to a very successful career at Florida however, it were his mechanics that left the NFL pundits with mixed reviews on where Tebow would fall heading into the 2010 NFL Draft.
Tebow lacked the mechanics of a true pocket passes, however, the hype machine behind Tim Tebow was enough to find him a first round grade with at least one team as he was eventually selected by the Denver Broncos. In Tebow’s second season with the Broncos he would lead the team to a playoff victory and gain the favor of the Broncos supporters, however, the Tim Tebow era in Denver would be short lived as Peyton Manning would be brought on by Denver brass to replace Tebow.
Following the Manning signing, Tebow would be traded to the Jets where he was a back up quarterback and situational player before being cut. The Patriots took a flyer on the quarterback but also released him. It should be noted that Tim Tebow is still vying for an NFL comeback.
