Better Call Saul Teaser Trailer Tells Fans Absolutely Nothing, But It’s Exciting

Ever since Breaking Bad went off the air last year there has been a void that no show can fill. Granted, there is no shortage of great television out there, but Breaking Bad was something truly special. Never fear, Vince Gilligan fans! The first Better Call Saul teaser trailer has dropped and though it is very short, it does give the first glimmer into the very welcomed spin-off.

Even though the show isn’t set to air its first episode until February, AMC is starting their marketing campaign early as they released the first teaser on Monday. Unfortunately for fans, the trailer says little to nothing that they didn’t already know. Coming in at just over ten seconds long, the clip features everyone’s favorite shady lawyer, Saul Goodman ( Bob Odenkirk) talking to what looks like a potential client.

Lawyers, we’re like health insurance. You hope you never need it. But man, oh, man, not having it, no!” he says.

The spin-off was confirmed last April by Gilligan and went into development shortly thereafter. AMC clearly has confidence in the show doing well, as they recently ordered two full seasons of the show before the pilot even airs. It has also been said that the show will be taking place before, during and after the events that occurred in Breaking Bad.

The timeline that Better Call Saul will be taking place in leaves plenty of room for some fun cameos, but there are a few who won’t be appearing for sure. It was confirmed that Aaron Paul’s fan favorite character Jessie Pinkman unfortunately won’t be making an appearance. Dean Norris will be sitting it out as well due to his schedule. Beyond that, there is a lot of potential.

Better Call Saul premiers this February on AMC and stars Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian and Michael Mando.
