Rolling Stone recently interviewed Taylor Swift and now the world is in a flurry over her new song, “Bad Blood,” which seems to be about none other the California Girl herself, Katy Perry. Thanks to Twitter and internet speculation the Katy Perry Taylor Swift feud has really blown up. In honor of that, here are ten songs to listen too from the aforementioned fighting pop stars.
Shake It Off
What better way to celebrate the feud between these two pop stars than with Swift’s latest single, “Shake It Off,” which is currently dominating the charts.
Though this song has nothing to do with Swift, it does have a bit of a sassy tone to it, which is the perfect vibe for a feud.
If in fact Taylor Swift did write “Bad Blood” with Katy Perry in mind, that would indeed be mean, so this song seems fitting.
Hot N Cold
The lyrics in “Hot N Cold” are perfect for anyone that is in a confusing situation or some sort of fight. Maybe the girls can give it a listen and work things out, but probably not.
I Knew You Were Trouble
If what Swift suggests is true and Perry really doesn’t like her all that much, than she really should have known that she was trouble, eh?
This isn’t exactly a Katy Perry song, but shes in it along with 3OH!3. If it had been released more recently, sections of the lyrics could almost represent a jab at Swift’s seemingly messy love life. Also, Katy Perry plays in a fountain in the video, so that’s fun.
You’re Not Sorry
You’re right Taylor, Katy doesn’t seem sorry. Just ask her Twitter account.
Katy Perry has attitude and that will certainly show if this feud keeps going. No song of hers shows more of that attitude than Roar.
Being that Perry has that attitude, Swift is clearly Fearless (you see what we did there?) for calling her out via her new song and interview.
I Kissed A Girl
We would all like nothing more than for Taylor and Katy to work this out and be friends, so maybe they should just kiss and make up. (No really, they should totally kiss.)
