A game warden recorded a rare footage of two deer trapped around a pole due to their antlers.
Warden Michael McCall was patrolling in Comal County in Texas when he noticed the distressed animals that seemed to be trapped in some kind of rope.
The deer with the white tail then became caught either side of a pole and were unable to free themselves.
Warden decided to record the event while attempting to free the animals since deer was common in the area, but the predicament was not.
While attempting to rescue the deer, Warden decides to sit on the hood of his car and see through the rope by leaning whilst staying safe.
Warden McCall also explained that he gets called out to at least a few different incidents every week that involves animal-related incidents at the Comal County.
But the chance to help out gives him great job satisfaction.
The opportunity of coming to aid of a helpless animals gives him great job satisfaction. He quotes: “It is law enforcement off the pavement; Texans helping Texans in conservation enforcement since 1895.”
McCall cut the animals free while staying safe by balancing himself on the hood of his truck.
Mr McCall says he became a Game Warden to ‘help that which has no voice of its own, our cultural and natural resources’.
Luckily for McCall, the deer was looking pleased to be free from the tangling since they sprinted away the moment they were free at the end of the video without looking back.
