Elba, New York – A group of three young 4th grade students were planning to kill their teacher with hand sanitizer in an Elba, New York school. What might first come to mind might be some graphic images of the girls forcing the sanitizer down their teacher’s throat, or poisoning her with it by tricking her into drinking it by other means. That is far from the depth of the plot here in this case. These girls had learned that their teacher was deathly allergic to the ingredients in common hand sanitizing gel, so they created a plan to put the substance on items they knew she would touch.

All of this hatred and animosity for their teacher apparently stems from the student’s perception that she yells at the class too much, and the students did not like her. Rather than turn to other teachers, parents, or school officials, the girls decided that the situation might end better if they took the matter into their own hands. Their plan was ultimately foiled when they told another student who was not involved with the murder plot.
The other young student told his parents about the 3 girls plan, and what their desired outcome was. The shocked parents contacted school officials to warn the teacher about the student’s evil plan before the situation could get any worse. Luckily the students were unable to harm the teacher, and did not successfully carry out their plan to coat any of her objects in the hand sanitizer.
The identities of the students involved in the incident are protected by various laws that not only protect minors involved in criminal activity, but also laws governing the privacy of students in the education system. There has been no mention about what type of disciplinary action these students might face, but this incident is planned to be used by school officials as a learning point for the rest of the students in their district.
