Volcanic super eruptions have been known to block out the sun all across all or part of the Earth, but some scientists believe that recent volcanic activity may be holding the effects of Global Warming at bay. These recent and regular volcanic eruptions are proposed to be ejecting just enough matter into the atmosphere to be reflecting some of the Sun’s rays. If this theory holds to be true, it would account for the stalemate in warming patterns of late. Now, this is either completely true (and partially plausible) or it’s just another excuse made to fuel the theory behind global warming.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing if global warming were later proven to not be related to human activity, but in the meantime it won’t hurt anybody to work towards reducing carbon emissions and pollution. Human waste and destruction certainly accounts for some level of destruction of our entire ecosystem. Everything from over-fishing tbe oceans to destroying the world’s forests has some effect on our atmosphere.
Volcanic ash and other emissions are observed to be blocking solar radiation, which has been helping the Earth stay cooler than it otherwise would without it. In theory, the Earth would have been warmer by no had these volcanoes not erupted recently around the globe. To think of the irony of something spewing molten hot rock and metal all over the place actually cooling off the globe, now that’s almost funny.
Funny, but however true based on scientific observations. It would be hard for scientists to quantify all of the reasoning behind the reduction in global warming to just the volcanic emissions.
