Ever since AMC’s Better Call Saul came into production, fans of Breaking Bad have been asking questions if Walter White or Jesse Pinkman are to feature in it.
Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) is pretty much all for making an appearance in AMC’s “Breaking Bad” spinoff. While talking with Variety about a possible cameo, the actor said, “We always have fun having that discussion, Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers, we just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day.”
“Better Call Saul” has already featured a number of “Breaking Bad” returns, including its star Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks and (spoiler alert) Raymond Cruz as drug dealer Tuco.
Well you ‘Better Call Saul’ and ask him to hurry up and fast forward because Aaron Paul aka Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad says that he is hoping to have a guest appearance at the show.
“We always have fun having that discussion — Vince [Gilligan], myself, Peter [Gould], the writers. We just have no idea how that would happen. But hopefully one day” added Jesse Pinkman.
However, Paul has clarified it earlier that “there’s no plan of Jesse or Walt making an appearance in the first season of ‘Better Call Saul.’ [But] who knows? Maybe in the future seasons.”
The creative directors of the TV series have promised to show the life events of Jimmy McGill before he became the famous criminal attorney. They have not strayed away from the original plot and they have connected the spinoff with Breaking Bad. They have already featured Raymond Cruz, Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks.
Anything is possible in the world of Jesse Pinkman and Walter White. Is Saul going to bring in two of his most favorite clients this season or the next? Let’s just hope it is soon.
Better Call Saul airs Mondays on AMC at 10/9c.
