Vancouver, British Columbia – In a classless move that was truly un-Canadian-like, a driver in a hotel parking lot hit Ryan Reynolds and then sped off without seeing if he was okay. The driver could have at least gotten out to see that the actor was actually okay, and then said he was sorry (pronounces “sorey” in the Great White North. Ryan Reynolds had reportedly been standing by in the hotel parking lot, when someone got in their car and backed into him. Luckily Reynolds was not seriously injured, and was able to brush off the incident. The driver in the hit and run was allegedly a paparazzi, who had been filming Reynolds earlier, who was in Vancouver to film his upcoming superhero movie.

Undoubtedly thankful that the situation didn’t turn out worse than it really was, he made some off-hand jokes about the incident later via social media. Vancouver police should be able to identify the driver, who was spotted on camera in the underground parking garage where they incident took place. Unfortunately for the alleged paparazzi, this endeavor may end up costing him more than it was worth.
The movie “Deadpool” is being shot on location in Vancouver, though filming of the movie was not taking place at the time of the accident on Sunday. The superhero movie is planned to be a bit of a departure from the typical release lately, since fans had hoped Deadpool would garner an “R” rating. Although the movie is reported to be edgy and violent, the studios likely kept the content PG-13 in order to maintain a broader audience for the film.
