One of the child actors who played one of Ray Romano’s twin sons on the hit show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond‘ is reported dead today. The news was announced by the actor’s sister Madylin Sweeten, who stated that Sawyer Sweeten killed himself. Sawyer Sweeten may not be highly remembered, but his cute toddler character may be remembered by many fans who watched the sitcom on a regular basis. Because of the twin’s relatively young age during the taping of the series, he never really got much camera time.

Sawyer appeared on the show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ along side his two real siblings. His real-life twin brother played the other twin on the show, and his older sister played the couple’s oldest child. Aside from that television series, he and his brother have very few credits to their name. Their older sister Madylin has had a better run on air and on the movie screen since the series stopped.
At this time the details of how and why the teen took his own life are not being publicly discussed by the family. They have made their statement to announce the death, but are asking for privacy so that they can cope and grief with their obvious loss.
The actor’s career was so brief and uneventful that Wikipedia had previously denied a page dedicated to the Sweeten twins. Their collective presence in the entertainment industry goes widely unnoticed, unlike their marginally more successful older sister. Attempts to find any more screen credits in their name are few and far between at this point, as well as recent photos of Sawyer.
