Streaming services have been the saving grace for fan favorite TV shows that get cancelled by their networks, and Netflix recently stepped in and saved Longmire from an early end. The streaming giant recently revealed the trailer for season 4 of the show, which will be debuting in September.
“It’s not that you come back, it’s how you come back that matters. Longmire Season 4 is coming exclusively to Netflix September 10.”
The show, based on the “Walt Longmire Mysteries” book series, aired for 3 seasons on A&E, prior to the Netflix pickup. The trailer for the new season looks especially tense, and showcases the stars of the series including Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips and fan favorite Katee Sackhoff.
“Walt Longmire is the dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Widowed only a year, he is a man in psychic repair but buries his pain behind his brave face, unassuming grin and dry wit,” is how the show is described on IMDB.
For those who aren’t familiar, or just aren’t caught up on the show, all three previous seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix instant.
Be sure to watch the trailer below. Longmire season 4 will be available September 10 exclusively on Netflix.
