In a surprising home invasion, a 300 pound deer breaks into a Philadelphia home and unsurprisingly, makes one heck of a mess.
According to NBC News, a 300 pound dear breaks into a Philadelphia home in north-east Philly at the home of Ron Philipose. Philipose said he was contacted by police on Saturday and was told that there may have been a burglary at his home on Welsh Road. Police told Philipose that they suspected a burglary as they received a call about glass breaking inside the house.
Philipose, who was at the doctors with his wife and 2-week-old son at the time of the incident, agreed to meet with police. When Philipose along with several officers walked into his home, officers say that they saw blood on the couch and walls. They proceeded to ask Philipose to leave for his own safety and investigate the house.
The house was in shambles with blood and glass everywhere according to the police report. However, the suspicion of a burglary was soon put to a halt when officers found a 300 pound deer in the back room.
Officers locked the deer in the room and called Pennsylvania Fish and Wildlife. While they tried to remove the animal from the home safely, they were unable to and had to euthanize the deer.
