The last time four members of the Congo Olympic delegation were seen, they were leaving the Olympic village with their bags packed. Currently none of them have been seen or heard from since they left.
The Olympians include a Judo fighter, and others from the Judo team, as well as boxing team. It is not know for certain whether foul play was involved or if the individuals have decided to simply not return to Congo.
In Cameroon seven other Olympic delegates have not returned back to their origin nation.
Because of the instability, and harsh living conditions in their native countries it is believed that the delegates have chosen to defect.
