A six-year-old child was discovered clinging to the corpse of family friend on a New York lake. The little girl was discovered by three people who were fishing at Putnam County’s, Lake Gleneida Monday afternoon.
the fishermen spotted the girl holding on to an unidentified object in the distance then soon realized that the object was the body of Pamela Kaner, 59.
The lake does not allow swimming, so investigators are trying to understand how the little girl wound up in the water with the woman who was discovered lifeless.
An autopsy on the woman’s body is expected to be conducted to see if she drowned or died from another medical complication.
