The Boston University conducted a survey on over 5400 Canadians age 50 and older, and came up with some rather promising results for those who enjoy a glass of wine from time to time.
The University concluded that women who drink no more than 3 glasses of wine a day, and men who drank no more than 4 glasses of wine a day had higher overall scores than those who didnt drink at all.
The participants in the study were graded on factors including dexterity, emotion, cognition and mobility.
They say it is best to drink no more than 14 glasses of wine per week, to maintain the best middle aged lifestyle.
The study done by Boston University is not the first study of its kind. Other studies done elsewhere in the world have concluded that drinking wine improves cognitive function, when done in moderation.
The studies findings are sure to excite middle age wine, all across the world.
Wine improves overall quality of life.
