An amazing video has popped up as a skydiving camera falls 12500 feet and lands without a single scratch.
According to the Huffington Post, Lucas Damm accidentally dropped his skydiving camera before his skydive in British Columbia and watched as his beloved skydiving camera plummeted 12500 to the ground below. Miraculously, when Damm landed and recovered the camera, not only did the camera still function, but it appears that the durable device survived the dive without so much as a scratch.
Jumping near Pitt Meadows, Damm’s GoPro, a type of camera designed to fit on the helmet, hit the door and the camera popped out and started heading towards the ground. “I go to turn it off and I didn’t hear it beeping, and I know the [spot where the camera is held] is open and I just start freaking out.” Luckily for Damm, once he spotted the camera, it appeared to be as in shape as it was before its solo dive. “It’s just one of those random things. It’s like winning the lottery of lotteries. For everything to come together the way that it happened is mind-boggling.”
