Long time Texas Rangers announcer Paul Barnett, had an odd moment Monday evening live on air during a recent San Diego Padres game.

The veteran announcer began loosing control of his speech during the 8th inning when he confused his audience with what he was saying.

The incident which only lasted for a few moments had him claiming a runner was at “fifth” base and then trailing off into a story about “henchmen” and a “botched robbery.”

On Tuesday Barnett spoke to 1080KRLD saying he suffered from a migraine and that he currently felt fine. Barnett will take 2 nights off from announcing for the Rangers, and hopes to make a full recovery.
