A 5 second video clip shows a large explosion on Jupiter’s surface. For the fourth time if four years a large explosion has been discovered on the largest planet in our Solar System.
These explosions are important because the size of the blasts indicate what kind of flying masses are out there, that could strike our planet. This blast occurred on September 10th 2012.
Although no one knows for certain what the explosion is, it is believed to be a comet, or meteor.
