A developing story has recently emerged as their have been reports of a Brookfield Square Mall shooting in suburban Wisconsin.
UPDATE: The Chicago Tribune reports that the Brookfield Square Mall shooting happened about 11 a.m. at the Azana Day Spa, a two-story, 9,000-square-foot building across the street from the mall. Three victims have been killed and four others have been wounded. The suspect has been identified as 45-year-old Radcliffe Franklin Haughton, who was found dead inside the spa after a six-hour manhunt. Police found Haughton’s car and also discovered an improved explosive device at the spa.
According to numerous reports from CNN and the Huffington Post, a mass shooting has occurred near the Brookfield Square Mall in Wisconsin. A hospital spokeswoman told explained to CNN that that at least seven people have been shot, however, no fatalities have been reported thus far.
As the story is currently ongoing, very few details have been given about the shooting. However, numerous reports suspect the shooting began at a spa near the area. No details have been given on the suspect, and he is currently still at large. Medical and emergency personnel are on the scene as the mall and businesses nearby are in a state of lock down until the suspect is in custody.
