A tragic accident in New York leaves a car sliced in half and 4 teens dead. A 17-year-old driver, who had a learner’s permit, was driving a car full of teenagers when the car smashed into a tree cutting the car in half.
The accident ended up killing four 18-year-old passengers, and sent the 17-year-old driver, Joseph Beer to the hospital. The victims were all teen boys from Queens: 17-year-old Neal Rajapa and 18-year-old Peter Kanhai of South Ozone Park, 19-year-old Darian Ramnarine, and 18-year-old Christopher Khan.
The stretch of road known to many as “Dead Mans Curve” has an accident every year in the same spot according to locals, but none as awful as this one has ever occured.
Beer is expected to live through his injuries, while investigators are attempting to piece together what happened in the moments leading up to the collision that left a car sliced in half leaving four dead.
