In an astonishing act of deception and manipulation, Carissa Hads posed as a boy and tricked a 15-year-old girl into having sex with her.

According to the Smoking Gun, 24-year-old Carissa Hads posed as a boy and tricked a 15-year-old girl from West Virgina into having sex with her. Hads is facing federal charges of enticement of a minor, which has a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. In the sworn affidavit by an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigator, Hads was allegedly masquerading as 17-year-old James Puryear Wilson and met the girl on a social networking site in October 2010.

Carissa Hads Biggest Lie

Hads, posing as Wilson, had Myspace and Facebook pages describing “himself” as a youth pastor in Quincy, Massachusetts. “Wilson” also claimed to have twins and was interested in finding “some people to talk to.” The girl who ended up getting together with Hads has remained anonymous, however, the affidavit identifies her as A.L.

Using her fake persona of Wilson, Hads and the young teenage girl became involved in an internet relationship, where Hads proceeded to send the girl two cell phones to contact “him.” While paying for both cell phone bills, Hads also sent the girl a Kindle Fire Tablet in order to stay in contact. The teenager reportedly told police how she used the phones to take naked photos of herself, and that she “forwarded these pictures, some of which focused on her vagina, to ‘Wilson.’”

Carissa Hads Relationship and Persona Escalates

The relationship took one step further when Hads, still posing as Wilson, asked to meet “A.L.” in person in December 2010. The meeting was arranged by the teenager’s mother, who accompanied her daughter along with two other teenagers to meet “Wilson” at a Pennsylvania motel. “Wilson,” claimed to have flown in from Massachusetts to the nearby Pittsburgh airport, where mother and daughter stayed at the same motel “in a separate room paid for by A.L.’s mother,” according to a different affidavit sworn by West Virginia State Trooper Robert Talkington. In his statement, Talkington said that Hads had “digitally penetrated A.L.’s vagina.”

Two months after there first in person encounter, “Wilson” flew out to West Virgina and was picked up the A.L.’s mother. During his/her five day stay at A.L.’s home, A.L. and Wilson engaged in sexual intercourse. In an interview on May 8 of A.L. done by police, the sexual act involved “Wilson” keeping all of his clothes on while unzipping his pants, where his “fleshed colored” penis was held at the base by Wilson the entire time. The act was also video taped according to A.L.

Carissa Hads Caught in the Act

Hads, who was unaware that A.L. began cooperating with the police, was arrested a month ago after traveling to Pittsburgh for what she thought would be a third sexual encounter. Hads was arrested after a tip was sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, where “Wilson” had threatened the life of a 15-year-old girl who is an acquaintance of “A.L  she told “A.L.” that she did not believe “Wilson” was “who ‘he’ said ‘he’ was.”
