Chad Ochocinco’s wife Evelyn Lozada is pressing charges of domestic violence after the couple had a “disagreement,” that left Lozada with a laceration on her forehead.
According to NFL.com, wife Evelyn Lozada of Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Ochocinco is pressing charges of domestic violence after a heated argument gave Lozada a cut on her forehead. Ochocinco was arrested on Saturday for the incident and released Sunday afternoon on a $2,500 bond.
The pair have two very different accounts of what happened during the argument. While both parties agree that the incident happened inside Ochocinco’s “black smart” car in the driveway in front of their house where Lozada “located a Walgreen’s receipt in the vehicle’s trunk for a box of condoms.”
According to Lozada’s account, Ochocinco became upset, grabbed her, and head-butted her. She also stated that the famous receiver said, ”I don’t give a (expletive)! I don’t give a (expletive) about my career!” Lozada says that is when she walked into the neighbors house waited for them to come home before calling the police.
However, Ochocinco claims that Lozada headbutted him, causing the 3 inch laceration across her forehead. He states that she shouted ”(Expletive) it!”
The Dolphins have decided to cut Ochocinco from the team amid the acquisitions.
