Why would 25-year-old Christopher Krumm turn a bow and arrow on his own father and his girlfriend? In a sad and bizarre tragedy out of Casper, Wyoming Christopher Krumm stabbed his fathers live-in-girlfriend, 42-year-old Heidi Arnold then went down to a Wyoming community college and in front of a computer science class and shot his father with a bow and arrow.

Heidi Arnold’s body was found in a gutter on the street outside of their house. Evidence suggested that much of the attack occurred outside. She was discovered with multiple stab wounds.

His father 56-year-old James Krumm was teaching his Computer Science class on Friday when his son showed up with the deadly weapon tucked under a blanket.

The Associated Press reported that Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh said  James Krumm, may have actually saved some of his students lives by giving them time to flee while he attempted to fend of his own flesh and blood from a deadly attack.

After shooting his father with the bow and arrow Chrstopher Krumm then fatally stabbed his father in the chest, before turning the large knife on himself.

Following the incident, the campus was locked down for several hours.

The community college has planned a candlelight vigil and memorial service for Tuesday.
