As Google is well known as a major resource when it comes to the internet, Google helps a teen invent an advanced cancer test that’s over 100 times more successful than the current test.
According to BBC News, with the help of Google and free online science papers, 15-year-old Jack Andraka has invented a a pancreatic cancer test that is 168 times faster and considerably cheaper than the gold standard in the field. In fact, Andraka won $75,000 at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in May for his creation.
Andraka is now carrying out further testing at Johns Hopkins University in the US city of Baltimore.
