The huge bulldozer of a running back David Fangupo commits to his career in football with Hawaii as the 350lbs large high school football star commits to the University of Hawaii.
According to the Inquisitr, David Fangupo, the 350lbs high school running back, has committed to the University of Hawaii for the next football season. In a viral video that was uploaded earlier this week, Fangupo was seen literally crushing his competition as the huge linebacker bulldozed over his opponents.
This week, the Unviersity of Hawaii offered David Fangupo a full scholarship as the high school star showed how he can run over his opponents. Fangupo said about the news,
“I felt like it was not real at the moment … I’m excited and feel blessed that they would do that for me. It’s just pretty much playing for my home team and family and being around people I know. It goes from going to home (on the Big Island) to home again. All the support from my family is still there.”
David Fangupo stands at an impressive 6’2″ and weighs approximately 348-pounds. While there are those that may mock his weight, Fangupo carried the ball 75 times this season for 534 yards. The running back also scored six touchdowns this season. Check out the video below and watch Fangupo’s impressive runs.
