Never thought the day would come when an American City would be deemed to dangerous to visit? Well the time has come. Detroit Law Enforcement Officials have officially deemed Detroit unsafe for visitors.
CBS Detroit reported that the Detroit Police Officer Association (DPOA) Attorney Donato Iorio said officers are holding the “Enter At Your Own Risk” rally at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in front of Comerica Park to remind the public that the officers are overworked, understaffed, and at times, fearful for their lives.
According to Forbes Magazine Detroit is America’s most dangerous city. According to Law Enforcement in Detroit it’s because they are understaffed and underfunded to stabilize the cities crime rate. Once the Mecca for America innovation and industry the rise and fall of Detroit has been directly related with the demise of the American Auto Industry over the years. Making it one of the few cities in America loosing population over the last two decades.
