According to the Drudge Report Director of the CIA David Petraeus could be a front-runner to be selected as the VP in Mitt Romney’s Presidential bid. 

Drudge reported that an inside source overheard President Obama whisper to a top fundraiser that he believes Republican Presidential Candidate wants Petreaus as his VP.

If true this would be a huge blow to the Obama Presidency because it would indicate that the man who is credited with turning the tide of the wars in the middle-east into a favorable way for America may have done an about face on Obama.

Before becoming director of the CIA Petraeus was a 4-star General who served 37 years in the Army. He was commander of the International Security Assistance Force, Commander U.S. Forces Afghanistan, Commander, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM).

Although Drudge has reported this the Former 4-star Petraeus has previously said he would never run for office.
