The families of Jason Clair, and James and Joel Kun broke out when they were about to exit the hearing that was set to be held for the shooter Jason Clair.
Clair is accused of shooting James, and Joel Kun outside of a St Cloud nightclub last year.
Clair after being booked for killing the brothers
The fight which resulted in Clair shooting the two brothers to death started after an argument in the bar. The Kun brothers began beating Clair outside of the nightclub.
Clair left the bar for twenty minutes and later returned to the parking lot where another fight began. Another fight broke out this time with Clair discharging his weapon several times killing both brothers.
The video below shows the fight that breaks out between James Parker, 53, of Minneola, the dead brothers’ father, James Kun Sr., 45, of St. Cloud, and Kun family friend, Jeremy Milyon, 23, of St. Cloud. All were charged with affray, a misdemeanor.
Witnesses told police that they saw Clair stand over the mortally wounded brothers firing repeatedly at their bodies. After shooting the two boys Clair told the boys mother “I’ll shoot you, too”. Clair’s attorney and his attorney have cited Florida’s Stand Your Ground law as his defense.
